      Benjamin Pruitt, orphan of Wm. Prewitt chose William Middleton for his guardian, with Thomas Riley security. Benjamin bought land on 29 Nov 1757 in Accomack Co, VA from Elijah Lileston and Elizabeth his wife for £100 consisting of some 83 acres bounded by the land of Elijah, by George Middleton Jr., by Thomas Wise & Solomon White, it being all the land lately conveyed by the said Benjamin Prewitt & his wife Rachel, to the said Elyah Lilliston by a deed recorded in the General Court of this colony, except 60 acres at the east end of the land, it being set off by a line of marked trees.
