Many of the places mentioned in the narratives about each person in the Chronicles contain links to that place in Google Maps. To view that location click the icon. When only a state, county, town or city is known you usually see that location outlined and named. In some cases you will see the actual town, and in other cases you will see that the dwellings have since been replaced with freeways, public buildings or other modern structures. - MILITARY SERVICE
Many men in Europe and in America during the eras of the American Revolution, War of 1812, Mexican War, Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I and II, Korean War and Vietnam War put their country's needs first in their lives. Men of a certain age generally served during those eras, whether on the battlefield or in a wartime support role. Among our ancestors in the military were the following men, although others may have had unidentified service.
